Gray, Cephas the newcomers to Reggae Boyz squad
Former Arnett Gardens winger Renaldo Cephas has landed his first international call as one of two new players named to Heimer Hallgrimsson's 23-man squad to face Honduras for two Concacaf Nation's League games on September 8 and Haiti on the 12th.
Cephas has been in irrepressible form since he left Arnett Gardens close to the end of the 2021-22 season for Macedonia’s top division club FC Shkupi.
His outstanding performances last season for Shkupi earned him a move to Turkish Super League team MKE Ankaragücü before the start of this season and he has continued his good form with one goal in three games.
Also getting a first call up is former USA under-17 and New York City FC defender Tayvon Gray.
Meanwhile, Eaton Pinnock, who missed the Gold Cup because his wife had complications during her pregnancy, returns to the squad.
The rest of the squad includes players who were a part of the Gold Cup squad this summer.
