Men’s 100m heats confirmed after preliminary round
The start lists for the heats of the men’s 100m at the Tokyo World Athletics Championships have been confirmed with Kishane Thompson, Oblique Seville and Akeem Blake set to get into action.
Seville, Thompson and Blake will line up in heats one, two and three, respectively, as they begin their quest for glory.
Both Seville and Thompson will enter their heats as overwhelming favourites, while Blake will face an early test.
Blake will line up alongside defending world champion, Noah Lyles of Team USA, in heat three.
The event is set to start on Saturday at 6:35 a.m.. The top three from each heat, plus the next three fastest times, will advance to the semifinal.
