Mount Pleasant move up to fourth in JPL

Daniel Green scored in the 50th minute to give Mount Pleasant Academy a 1-0 win over Arnett Gardens in their Jamaica Premier League (JPL) match at Drax Hall Sports Complex yesterday.
The win lifted the Concacaf Caribbean Cup champions to fourth in the standings with 30 points from 16 games. Arnett remain in 10th with 23 points from 19 games.
In another match yesterday Dunbeholden also clipped Cavalier 1-0 with Shakeen Powell getting the winner in the 57th minute. Dunbeholden are seventh in the league with 25 points while Cavalier remain in sixth with 26 points. Both clubs have played 18 games.
