Champs 2026 | Edwin Allen leads 4x100m qualifiers

Edwin Allen clocked the fastest time heading into the girls Class One 4x100m relay final when they advanced from heat one in a time of 45.45 seconds earlier today at the National Stadium.
They finished ahead of Holmwood Technical, who advanced from the heat after finishing second in 46.26.
Hydel also secured their spot in the Class One final when they took the second heat in 46.21, with Vere Technical advancing as the next automatic qualifier in 46.77.
St Jago topped the pile in Class Two qualifiers as they clocked the fastest time with 45.73.
Hydel, 45.90, Edwin Allen, 46.08, and Immaculate, 46.45, were the other automatic qualifiers.
In Class Three, Alpha led the way in qualifying and were the only team to dip below the 46-second barrier as they crossed the line in 45.83.
Edwin Allen, 46.49, Hydel, 47.44, and Ferncourt, 48.11, were among the notable qualifiers into the final.
Edwin Allen, Hydel High, and Wolmer’s Girls were the top three qualifiers in the Girls Class Four 4x100m preliminaries as they won their respective heats.
Edwin Allen took heat one in 47.94, with Hydel taking heat three in 48.18, and Wolmers' topping heat two in 48.49.
Holmwood Tech were the other automatic qualifiers as they topped heat four in 48.49 to advance to the final.
