Waterhouse FC has announced a new strategic partnership with Future Energy Source Company Limited (FESCO) to support and enhance its youth football programme.
This sponsorship marks a significant investment in the future of Jamaican football, aligning both organisations around a shared commitment to youth development, character-building, and community impact.
“The Waterhouse FC Youth Programme is built on long-established values centred on developing well-rounded young people through football,” said Donovan White, president of Waterhouse FC.
“Investment in youth development is critical to the long-term success of both our club and Jamaican football. This partnership with FESCO represents a shared commitment to nurturing talent, instilling discipline, and creating real opportunities for young players to grow on and off the field. We value FESCO’s belief in our vision and look forward to building a strong, impactful programme together.”
The partnership enables Waterhouse FC to further strengthen its youth structure, maintaining a focus on holistic development through discipline, strong character, and leadership training.
“With the support of FESCO, our youth programme is better positioned to deliver on its mandate of holistic development,” said Nicola Bicknell, director of Waterhouse FC.
“Our approach goes beyond football, with a clear emphasis on shaping leadership qualities and behaviours that extend into everyday life. We extend our appreciation to FESCO for investing in national youth development through Waterhouse FC.”
FESCO emphasised its strategic focus on community development and youth empowerment as a core pillar of its corporate mission.
“Our partnership with Waterhouse Football Club Youth Programme reflects our belief that meaningful investment in youth creates lasting impact,” said Stefan Ebanks, head of business development, sales, marketing, and communication at FESCO.
“Football provides structure, discipline, and a sense of purpose, and we see real value in supporting programmes that shape character as much as talent. At FESCO, we are intentional about backing initiatives that strengthen communities and open doors for young people to grow, develop, and realise their potential.”
Jeremy Barnes, managing director of FESCO, added: “At Future Energy Source Company Limited, we recognise that strong communities are built through collaboration between residents and the business sector. Our aim is to foster opportunities for youth development through education and sport. This partnership with Waterhouse FC reflects a long-term commitment to shaping well-rounded individuals and creating a positive pathway for Jamaica’s youth.”
This partnership reinforces both organisations’ dedication to building sustainable pathways for youth development through football, while contributing to the broader social and sporting landscape in Jamaica.
