Despite a strong fight from the Caribbean nation, Haiti became the first team to be eliminated from the 2026 FIFA World Cup after two consecutive losses to Scotland and Brazil in Group C action.
Haiti sit without a point after they opened their group with a 1-0 loss to Scotland, before a 3-0 loss to Brazil on Friday.
It means they are mathematically eliminated from advancing to the knockout stages and will complete their campaign with a final group stage match against Morocco on Wednesday.
Brazil lead the group with four points, tied on points with second-place Morocco but the South Americans hold the advantage with a better goal difference.
Scotland sit in third in the group with three points but cannot be surpassed by Haiti, having beaten them before. The first tiebreaker in FIFA tournaments is a head-to-head countback.
Scotland face a stern task as they will go against Brazil to close out the group in a bid to earn one of eight best third-place qualification spots.
Morocco, on the other hand, will look to secure an automatic spot in the next round with their clash against Haiti and need a win to do so.
