NEW DELHI, India (CMC):

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been named in India’s One-Day International squad for the three-match series against the West Indies later this month.

The experienced pair are included in the 15-man ODI squad but will not feature in the subsequent five-match T20 International series.

The BCCI recently announced both squads, with pacer Auqib Nabi earning his maiden ODI call-up after being part of India’s Test squad for the tour of Sri Lanka in August, although he did not make his debut. Batter Naman Dhir has also received his first senior international call-up.

Ruturaj Gaikwad returns to the Indian set-up after last featuring in an ODI during the home series against South Africa last year, while Ravindra Jadeja is back in the ODI fold after his most recent appearance in the format against New Zealand in January.

In the T20I squad, Mayank Yadav returns after missing the series against Afghanistan. Kuldeep Yadav and Prince Yadav have also been recalled, adding further depth to the bowling attack.
