Zidane calls Akliouche to French squad

France coach Zinedine Zidane has called up attacking midfielder Maghnes Akliouche as a replacement for the injured Warren Zaïre-Emery for upcoming Nations League matches.
The French football federation said in a statement yesterday that Zaïre-Emery suffered an adductor injury that has ruled him out of France’s training camp.
Both Zaïre-Emery and Akliouche play for PSG. Zaïre-Emery started Sunday’s 2-1 win over Marseille in Ligue 1.
He is the second player to withdraw from the squad after Lens goalkeeper Robin Risser was also ruled out and replaced by Jean Butez, who plays for Como in Italy.
France will play Turkey on September 25 and Belgium three days later before hosting Italy on October 2 and Belgium on October 5.
Zidane replaced Didier Deschamps after the World Cup. As a player, he led France to glory at the 1998 World Cup and the European Championship two years later.
