TruSHAKE has signed Tru-Juice FC footballers Alex Marshall and Daniel ‘Messi’ Roberts as its newest brand ambassadors, strengthening its support for Jamaican sporting talent as the newly promoted club continues to make an impression in its debut Legend Jamaica Premier League season.

The partnership was formalised during a signing ceremony at Trade Winds Citrus Limited in Bog Walk, St Catherine, on October 20. It brings together two brands under the company’s umbrella and comes as the St Catherine-based club makes a promising start to life in Jamaica’s top-flight football competition.

Tru-Juice FC announced its arrival in the Premier League with a commanding 4-0 victory over former champions Mount Pleasant FA in September. Roberts made history in that encounter, scoring the club’s first-ever Premier League goal before adding a second. The team has since maintained a competitive start to its inaugural campaign.

For TruSHAKE, appointing Marshall and Roberts presents an opportunity to build on that momentum while promoting good nutrition, active lifestyles and the development of local sporting talent.

“At TruSHAKE, we believe great performance starts with good nutrition. Welcoming Tru-Juice FC players Alex Marshall and Daniel Roberts as brand ambassadors brings together our passion for Jamaican football, homegrown talent and active living,” said Lauren Mahfood, marketing manager at Trade Winds Citrus Limited.

“This partnership moves beyond brand visibility. It’s about inspiring Jamaicans to fuel their ambitions and strive for excellence, on and off the field.”

The partnership will see both players featured in TruSHAKE’s marketing and promotional activities, with opportunities for consumer engagement, sporting activations and community initiatives. It will also provide a platform for the footballers to connect with young fans and aspiring athletes beyond the field of play.

For Marshall, who wears the number-10 jersey for Tru-Juice FC, the partnership formalises a relationship with a product he already uses.

“TruSHAKE is something I’ve been using even before becoming an ambassador, so this means a lot to me,” Marshall shared.

“I use it after every game as part of my recovery routine, and I’m happy to help the brand grow, while being a good role model to others.”

Roberts, who has played an important role in the club’s early Premier League success, also welcomed the opportunity to represent the brand.

“I’m happy to officially join the TruSHAKE family. I appreciate the support, and I’m looking forward to adding something meaningful to the brand,” he said.

Manufactured locally by Trade Winds Citrus Limited, TruSHAKE is positioned as a convenient nutritional beverage for consumers with varying lifestyles. Its Regular line provides nine grammes of protein per serving, while its Protein Plus line offers 16 grammes. Through the new partnership, TruSHAKE aims to strengthen its connection with consumers, while continuing to support Jamaican talent and encourage positive lifestyle habits.
