Stabbing rampage, Man kills sister

A man went on a bloody rampage in Falmouth, Trelawny, Saturday night, stabbing three sisters, one fatally.

The dead sister has been identified as 26-year-old Shakira Frame, while those injured are Donnette Grey-Lynch and Aneisha Edwards. The alleged attacker, Dwayne Anderson, was also injured.

Grey-Lynch, who had received multiple stitches after being stabbed in the throat and tongue, said, "The attack started for no apparent reason."

She said after Frame was stabbed in the throat, their brother moved menacingly through the house attempting to stab anyone he could find.

However, Anderson was chopped several times and subdued by persons attending a wake next door to the Wakeland Drive house.

He was subsequently placed under police guard in hospital.

Grey-Lynch lamented that the attack was witnessed by children.

Police said the incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. Frame was killed on the spot.

Yesterday, the family was in gloom, except for the six-year-old child of the deceased who was playing, clearly oblivious to the tragedy.

Frame also leaves behind a two-year-old child.
