Re: 'Gangster hunt - west Kingston thugs held in Manchester'

Reward money

The private sector should put up reward money for information leading to the capture of these criminals and their supporters, such as people hiding them.

Call the police

The citizens of these communities must look out for every strange man who comes to live among them, and you must call the police immediately when you see them. If not, these same guys will rob and kill you in the nights. So make sure you call the police, then let the cops get them.

Good job

It is good to see the police taking the fight to these criminals wherever they are. The Jamaican people are tired of the criminals taking over the country and leaving them cowering behind bars. Some liberties will have to be stepped on to return Jamaica to the country it was. I salute the security forces and the people of Jamaica for their new resolve. May God bless you all.

RE: Pay and puff - minors effortlessly purchase cigarettes

Silly rule

This is a silly rule ( to prohibit the sale of cigarettes to children under 18). Why don't you folks check the age at which teenagers can buy cigarettes in some countries?

We just love to do things to waste money. In some places, kids can buy cigarettes at 13 years old, and I don't see them worse off than us.

RE: Christie vsthe politicians

Widen CG's powers

It is only a pity that Mr Christie does not have authority to investigate all public entities. Take for example, the Accountant General's Office. It would benefit from a probe by the OCG.

It would appear that much corruption is taking place there as some pensioners are being deprived of monthly pensions, and are given partial payments in some instances, despite various contacts being made to the Accountant General and the PM to investigate some inconsistencies.
