LIME rolls out new value packages for customers

Telecommunications firm LIME yesterday introduced a new promotion that it said would offer its prepaid mobile customers phone calls and text messages for less than one Jamaican dollar.

Dubbed 'LIME XL Value', the telecoms company said the mega-four-part offer would see its customers enjoying 27 free minutes of talktime after each three-minute call, 100 free text messages after sending three text messages, free calls between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. nightly and $100 loyalty bonus credit at the start of each month.

"This is an extra-large offer that gives our customers more for less. They will be getting even more savings on Jamaica's best network so they can better afford the mobile services they have come to depend on," said Grace Silvera, regional vice-president, marketing and corporate communications.

Silvera further indicated that this offer was the first of several impressive deals to be rolled out by the company this year.

The company said it would be unveiling a super 8ft by 8ft cake at the St William Grant Park in downtown Kingston this Friday. A taste of the sweet Jacqui Tyson creation will be offered to members of the public in attendance at the event, which will also feature giveaways, entertainment and stilt walkers.
