2014 trek to support sixth studio album

Sean Paul hit the stage in Palmares, Costa Rica, with a blast during his Full Frequency tour on Sunday, January 26. The presence of over 45,000 screaming fans was all the boost he needed to unleash an energetic performance.

It was Sean Paul's first performance in the Central America country for 10 years.

Backed by Badda Banz and featuring a cameo performance from Konshens, Sean Paul closed the 40th Palmares Festival with a 90-minute set. Promoting his album Full Frequency, which will be officially released on Tuesday, February 18, on VP/Atlantic Records, the Gimmie The Light, Grammy-winning artiste enjoyed some down time with patrons after the show as he hung out with his fans to take pictures before heading off to the festival's after-party.

The celebration also saw Copper Shaun and Jigzagular from Coppershot Disco delivering sets to the dancehall-hungry crowd.

Known for hits such as Get Busy, We Be Burning, and his hit collaboration with Beyonce, Baby Boy, Sean Paul followed his Costa Rica appearance with a performance at the Trocadero Theatre in Philadelphia, USA, on Thursday, January 30.

He will be heading to the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles for a Valentine's Day performance. The following day, February 15 - he will be at the 9-Mile Music Festival with Lauryn Hill at the Miami Dade County Expo Centre.

Sean Paul will then get a breather before turning his attention to Europe, kicking off in Stuttgart, Germany. Among his other stops in Germany during May are Frankfurt, Zenith, Berlin, Hannover, Hamburg, and Cologne.

Full Frequency is Sean Paul's sixth studio album. He announced his presence to the world in 2002 with Gimmie The Light and, so far, has sold over 10 million albums worldwide.

Sean Paul has chalked up one accolade after another, including Grammy, MOBO, MTV Music Video, Soul Train, and American Music awards.
