"Good food, good people, good liquor so let us all have a good time." With that said, eager food aficionados made their way to the buffet.

#TeamBlue top chefs hosted our very own barbecue on the eve of what promises to be a sizzling summer season. The season is finally here when patrons enjoy a cool summer night by having a few drinks, lighting up the grill and inviting a few friends over.

On
Monday night, a group of friends countered the Monday blues by doing
just that. A few drinks courtesy of our friends over at Diageo Limited
and J. Wray & Nephew, and meats of all kind from the CB and
Copperwood family, and our gracious hosts Nari and Trisha Williams-Singh
opened their humble abode in Graham Heights to us, making the outdoor
event a big hit.

Enticing aromas from the grill danced to culinary beats of delight, wafting through the air, greeting guests as they arrived.

From
tequila to teriyaki, succulent cuts of pork, chicken, beef and an
assortment of side dishes in the mix, BBQ food lovers had more than
their fair share of savoury indulgence.

Foodies
make the best chefs, and dynamic husband-and-wife duo of Robin and
Renée Rickhi of Rickhi Catering joined forces to provide a delectable
and versatile spread. A food lover at heart, Renée told Food that
she had been cooking with her mom since she was about 16 years old.
Reminiscing, she laughed, saying, "I was forced to cook. But honestly, I
developed the love for cooking because of Robin. He loves to grill and
try new things and he is always doing something with food, and I
thought, 'Alright, I can do this, too', and that's where our love for
food came from."
