Jamaica’s Shanoya Douglas is expected to receive an upgrade from the bronze medal she mined in the women’s 200m at the 2024 World Athletics U20 Championships following the announcement of Adaejah Hodge’s suspension. Douglas initially placed third in the 2024 World Junior’s 200m final with a time of 23.10 seconds. She finished behind Hodge of the British Virgin Islands (BVI), who took gold in 22.74, and Australia’s Torrie Lewis, who was second in 22.88.
