The government of Trinidad and Tobago will be sending special arms and a helicopter to Guyana to help in its fight against criminal activities.

Prime Minister, Patrick Manning made the announcement yesterday stating that the security situation in Guyana has deteriorated.

Mr. Manning said his government’s decision to assist is necessary, if the perpetrators are to be brought to justice.

The security forces in Guyana have been searching for unidentified gunmen that shot and killed 13 people, in the community of Bartica on Sunday.
