Taleban threaten phone companies in Afghanistan

The Taleban warned mobile phone companies in Afghanistan it will blow up telephone poles in if the companies fail to switch off their signals at night.

According to the Taleban, foreign troops are using the signals to locate rebels.

The Taleban is also threatening to destroy the mobile companies’ offices if the demands are not met.

Taleban spokesman, Zabiullah Mujaheed said the companies have three days in which to take action.
