Thai PM to return from exile
Former Prime Minister of Thailand, Thaksin Shinawatra is reportedly scheduled to return from exile on February 28.
Mr. Thaksin has been living outside Thailand since the military revolution that deposed him in September 2006.
Thailand officials said he announced his intention to return, after the party formed by his political allies won the general election in December 2007.
According to BBC reports, the former Prime Minister still has an outstanding indictment for alleged corruption against him.
Officials said he must deal with the charges against him, before he can become a citizen.
