Spanish-Jamaican Foundation restructured
The Spanish-Jamaican Foundation, which was created as a non-profit organization of goodwill, intend to deepen the friendship between the people of Spain and Jamaica, has undergone restructuring in its management position.
The restructuring has been undertaken through the appointment of Ms Betty Valiante McKenzie and Ms Avalon Arscott, who will occupy the post of General Manager and Project Officer, respectively.
Ms Mckenzie is replacing outgoing General Manager, Beatriz Pozueta, while Ms Arscott will be replacing outgoing Project Manager, Katrine Smith.
Ms Pozueta and Ms Smith have both been credited with establishing the Foundation. \"They have served limitlessly and efficiently through their time with the Foundation,\" Mr Jesus Silva, President of the Foundation stated.
The primary aims and objectives of the Foundation include: the promotion of cultural, educational and other exchanges and collaborations between Spain and Jamaica.
