Tendulkar hit lead India to victory

Sachin Tendulkar hit 138 to lead India to a 46-run victory over hosts Sri Lanka in the final of the triangular one-day international series in Colombo today.



India piled up 319-5 after taking first strike with good contributions also coming from Rahul Dravid, 39, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, 56, and Yuvraj Singh, who scored 56 not out.



Thilan Thushara was the most successful bowler for Sri Lanka with 2-71 off 10 overs.



Set a victory target of 320 runs, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 273 against the bowling of Harbhajan Singh, 5-56.



Thilina Kandamby top scored for Sri Lanka with 66, while Tillakaratne Dilshan hit 42.
