Batsman Travis Dowlin said he is ready for the West Indies’ Champions Trophy campaign.
The right-hander, who made his international debut against Bangladesh in July, is one of the under strength team’s leading batsmen. He said he is looking forward to the opening game against Pakistan at the Wanderers tomorrow.
Dowlin made a big impression against Bangladesh, hammering a top score of 95 in one of the Test matches and an unbeaten even century in the second One Day International.
Dowlin, who has played for Guyana for over a decade, said the conditions in South Africa are different. However, he said the team had managed to make the adjustment following the 10-day camp at the North West Providence High Performance Centre in Potchefstroom.
