The Geoffery Maxwell-coached Waterhouse recorded their first victory of the 2009 to 2010 Digicel Premier League football season by beating Arnett Gardens 2-0 at the Waterhouse Stadium yesterday.

Damion Williams and Weston Forrest scored for Waterhouse, who finally got off the mark after six matches.

Waterhouse had earned a goalless draw against Harbour View earlier in the season. However, they lost the one point in the boardroom for using a player, Desmond Breakenridge, who was not registered to the club.

Meanwhile, champions Tivoli Gardens suffered their first defeat of the season going down 2-0 to Boys Town at the Edward Seaga Stadium.

As a result of the defeat, Tivoli Gardens have dropped to second place in the points table.

St George’s are now the new leaders following a 2-0 victory over Sporting Central Academy at Lynch Park in Portland.

St Georges lead with 14 points, one ahead of Tivoli Gardens on 13.

In other games, Humble Lion and Rivoli United battled to a 1-all draw at Effortville in Clarendon, while Village United and August Town ended 1-all at the Elliston Wakeland Centre.
