Zeniffe Fowler to be included in Jamaica squad
Former Under-19 player Zeniffe Fowler is expected to be the only newcomer in Jamaica’s 18-man squad, which will be named today to continue preparation for the West Indies Cricket Board President’s Cup one-day tournament.
The squad is expected to be led by West Indies opener Chris Gayle.
The squad should also includes all-rounder David Bernard Junior, who has been recommended for vice captain; Wavell Hinds, Brenton Parchment, Xavier Marshall, Shawn Findlay, Jerome Taylor, Darren Powell and Andrew Richardson.
The remaining member of the 16-man squad should be Tamar Lambert, Carlton Baugh Junior, Nikita Miller, Brendan Nash, Jason Dawes, Krishmar Santokie, Danza Hyatt and Odean Brown.
The squad will be cut to 14 just ahead of its departure on October 21 for the tournament in Guyana.
Jamaica will open against reigning champions Trinidad and Tobago on October 28.
