Norman Manley Whips Ardenne in Manning Cup

Norman Manley whipped Ardenne High 5-1 at Tinson Pen yesterday to hold on to their three-point lead in Group ‘B’ of the ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel Manning Cup football competition.
The schools had battled to a 1-all draw earlier in the season.
Norman Manley now moved to 19 points, three ahead of second place St Jago, who blanked hosts Innswood 2-0.
In the group’s other game, Jose Marti carved out a 2-0 victory over Haile Selassie.
Over in Group ‘C’ Spanish Town defeated Tarrant 3-0 while Excelsior recorded a 3-0 victory over Trench Town.
The game between hosts Cumberland and Campion College will take place this afternoon at 3:30.
Over in Group ‘F’ Charlie Smith blanked St Mary’s College 3-0, while Ascot defeated Kingston Technical 3-1.
