Forecasters monitoring the latest storm in the Atlantic named Henri, say it is gaining strength but could be short-lived.
The US National Hurricane Centre reported late last night that the storm was about 510 miles east of the northern Leeward islands.
It has winds of about 45 miles per hour.
Forecasters say Henri, the eighth named storm of the season, could weaken to below tropical storm strength by today.
