The Barbadian Prime Minister David Thompson is criticizing regional countries that have not made the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) their Final Court of Appeal.
So far only Barbados and Guyana have done this but all CARICOM territories have accepted the CCJ in its original jurisdiction.
Prime Minister Thompson\'s comment comes after Lord Philips, the President of the new UK Supreme Court said that the Privy Council spends too much time dealing with matters from the Caribbean.
Mr Thompson said there can be no excuse for the fact that the CCJ is in existence and there are still territories that have not acceded to it.
