Jamaica 14-man squad named for President\'s Cup

The Jamaica Cricket Board has named 12 players with West Indies senior team experience in the 14-man squad for the upcoming regional President’s Cup in Guyana.



The one-week tournament bowls off on October 28, with Jamaica starting against reigning champions Trinidad and Tobago.



Chris Gayle, the estranged West Indies captain will lead the team, which also includes Nikita Miller and David Bernard Junior, two members of the makeshift West Indies’ Champions Trophy team.



Pacers Daren Powell, Jerome Taylor and Andrew Richardson were also named.



The other members of the squad are: Xavier Marshall, Brenton Parchment, Shawn Findlay, Wavell Hinds, Brendan Nash, Carlton Baugh Junior, Danza Hyatt and Odean Brown.



Jamaica and T&T will play in Zone ‘A’ with Combined Campuses and Colleges and Windward Islands.



Zone ‘B’ comprises Guyana, Barbados, Leeward Islands and West Indies Under-19s.
