Greenpond high creates upset in daCosta Cup match

Out-of-contention Green Pond High created a stunning upset in Zone ‘A’ of the ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel daCosta Cup competition yesterday when they came from two goals down to beat the previously unbeaten Cornwall College 3-2.
The game was played at Jarrett Park in Montego Bay.
Following the defeat, Cornwall College remain in second place on 21 points, three behind reigning champions St James High on 24.
The day’s other game between Herbert Morrison and Muschett was rained out.
The competition continues this afternoon at 3:30 with 27 games across 10 zones.
