Officials from Taiwan say not all its Caribbean allies have endorsed a signature drive for its bids to participate in two United Nations specialized agencies.
Taiwan is pushing to be included in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the International Civil Aviation Organization.
The Taiwanese Central News Agency quotes officials as saying the bids were backed by St Vincent and the Grenadines, Belize, St Lucia and St Kitts and Nevis.
The allies that did not sign either of the documents included Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
