A new study has revealed that nearly four percent of adults around the world use cannabis or marijuana, even though the drug raises many major health concerns.
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime estimates that in 2006 there were 166 million users of cannabis aged from 15 to 64.
That\'s just under four percent of the world\'s population in this age category.
According to the study, marijuana is most used among young people in rich countries, led by the United States, Australia and New Zealand, followed by Europe.
