British Airways flights cancelled

British Airways has cancelled 54 more short-haul flights at the London Heathrow Airport\'s new Terminal five.



The terminal has reportedly been causing delays in luggage delivery, which resulted in several flights being cancelled last week.



Almost 300 flights have been scrapped and about 15,000 bags have been separated from their owners since the state-of-the-art terminal opened on Thursday.



Airport operators said the problems were triggered by glitches with the terminal\'s high-tech baggage-handling system.



However, they said about 87 percent of the terminal’s capacity has returned to normal.



They are warning that more flights could be cancelled between today and tomorrow.
