Zimbabwe court agrees to election petition

A Zimbabwean High Court judge has agreed to hear a petition by the opposition Movement for Democratic Change demanding the immediate release of the recent election results.

The hearing has been set for tomorrow.

Opposition leader, Morgan Tsvangirai is claiming defeat over President Robert Mugabe in the presidential election.

Mr. Tsvangirai\'s party said he won. However, an independent monitoring group said he came first with 49 percent of the vote.

No results have emerged from the March 29 presidential race.
