Waterhouse last night defeated archrivals Tivoli Gardens 2-0 at the Harbour View Mini Stadium to win the rescheduled City of Kingston Jackie Bell Knockout football final.

The Drewsland-based club lifted the title with goals in either half from Roberto Fletcher and Kenardo Forbes.

Waterhouse grabbed the lead in the 32nd minute when Fletcher headed past Edsel Scott off a right-sided cross from Kirk Ramsey.

Forbes got the clincher in the 89th minute when he buried a right-footer to the back post from 12 yards.

The game was first scheduled for May 4 but was called off during the half time interval because of a power cut, which plunged the Harbour View Stadium and its environs into darkness. The scores were locked at 0-0.
