'Dog Paw' remains in custody

Reputed gang leader Christopher ‘Dog Paw’ Linton, will have to remain behind bars until next week Friday.



His lawyers were expected make a bail application yesterday in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court.



However, the case had to be put off because the clerk of court involved in the matter was not available.



Linton is on murder charges as well as charges of wounding with intent and arson.



His case has been rescheduled for April 29, at which his lawyers are expected to apply for bail.



Dog Paw has been in police custody since January 24, after he was held during a police-military operation in Elletson Flats, St Andrew.



He is charged in connection with a gruesome attack in Bedward Gardens in December, killing a six-year-old boy, his 31-year-old mother and a 49-year-old taxi operator were murdered.



Linton is also on two charges of shooting with intent and one count of illegal possession of a firearm.
