Man killed in Spanish Town

Traffic had to be diverted from the Spanish Town bypass yesterday evening following a fatal shooting in the vicinity of De La Vega City, St. Catherine.



A man was reportedly shot and killed while washing a motorcar shortly after 7 p.m.



It is reported that while the man was washing the motorcar another vehicle drove up, shots were fired and he was hit.



He reportedly died on the spot.



Traffic had to be diverted after police personnel cordoned off the area to carry out their investigations.
