The Bureau of Special Investigations has begun a probe into the circumstances under which police killed two men, including a thirteen-year-old boy in Kingston yesterday.

The killing of 13-year-old Andre Isaacs, also called Whiteman, and 24-year-old Mark Batchelor sparked a demonstration at Heroes Circle yesterday. The demonstrators claimed that the police killed the men in cold blood however; the police have denied the claims.

The police say they were fired on by a group of men at the intersection of National Heroes Circle and Stephen Street and they returned the fire. They say it was later discovered that the men were shot.

Police allegedly recovered a .38 Wesson Revolver and two cartridges from the scene.
