The Government is expected to update the nation tomorrow on the returns derived from promotional activities undertaken around the London Olympic Games.

Tourism Minister Dr Wykeham McNeill and Industry, Investment and Commerce Minister Anthony Hylton are expected to outline the details at a Jamaica House press conference.

Jamaica won 12 medals, 4 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze, in London, for its highest medal haul ever at the Olympic Games.

Going into the games, the government had undertaken a number of promotional activities aimed at increasing the popularity of brand Jamaica.

Since the games, there have been calls from various sectors for initiatives that will tap into the enormous attention Jamaica garnered in London.
