Obama assassination attempt

Federal agents say two men have appeared in a US court accused of making threats to kill Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.

Paul Schlesselman and Daniel Cowart were also charged with possessing an unregistered firearm and conspiracy to steal from a licensed gun dealer.

The neo-Nazis allegedly planned to assassinate Mr. Obama in a murder spree targeting more than 100 black people.

The two men have still not entered a plea, but are due to appear in court again later this week.

Mr. Obama said he was not worried by the news.
