ISSA calls off today's Manning Cup fixtures because of rain
The Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association has postponed today's schedule of matches in the LIME urban-area Manning Cup football competition.
The decision was taken because of the heavy rains which the country has been experiencing.
Three unbeaten teams were among the 16 teams which were down to take the field in return games.
Meanwhile, the Group 'F' game between Kingston College and Eltham High which was not played on September 10 has been rescheduled for Thursday.
Kingston College were among the teams scheduled to take the field today and as a result of today's postponement, the North Street-based school will have two outstanding games.
And the Group 'E' game between Ardenne High and St Andrew College, which was postponed on September 23, has been rescheduled for October 10.
Also on October 10, the Group 'G' outstanding fixture between St Mary's College, Inswood High Group will be played.
