Woman held - illegal gun seized

A woman is now in police custody following the seizure of an illegal gun in Greater Portmore, St. Catherine.
Twenty-four year old Jodian Witter has been charged with illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
The police say the woman was caught during a police operation yesterday afternoon. The gun was found after her house was searched.
Ms. Witter is scheduled to appear in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday January 22.
