British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown is denying claims that he considered firing Cabinet Minister, Peter Hain over a donations issue.

Mr. Hain quit after the Electoral Commission asked police to probe the late declaration of 103,000 pounds.

The money was allegedly used to fund the leadership campaign of the deputy labour secretary race.

Prime Minister Brown said he was waiting for the results of the probe before he took action.

Yesterday, Mr. Hain resigned from his post as Works and Pensions Secretary.

He is the first cabinet member to quit under Gordon Brown\'s leadership.
