BSI probe alleged shooting

The Bureau of Special investigations (BSI) launched a probe into the shooting death of a man during an alledged shoot-out with the police in Trench Town, Kingston yesterday.
Dead is 24 year old Nicholas Cain, of a Trench Town address.
Another man was reportedly injured during the incident.
According to the police, around 5.30 pm yesterday afternoon, they were conducting an operation in the area when they were fired upon by a group of gunmen.
The police said they returned fire, after which two men were found with gunshot wounds.
Cain was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead, and the injured man admitted under police guard.
The police said a .8 Taurus revolver was seized.
