The Gleaner's Subscription Gift does not apply to active gift or premium accounts. The gift subscription price is non-refundable once the gift is redeemed, and promotional codes, once used, cannot be replaced or combined with other offers. Gifts have no cash value, and the subscription period begins at the recipient's redemption. Unclaimed gifts are non-refundable after one year, but the gifter/buyer can revoke or request a refund before that time elapses. Purchasing Gift Subscriptions
To purchase a Gleaner gift subscription, the buyer must register a FREE account or sign in to an already registered account. The process requires:
1. The gift recipient’s email address & name
2. The active period for the gift. A gift will be defaulted to the date of purchase unless indicated otherwise by the buyer.
3. Gift buyer’s name & email address & other
Click ‘Send this Gift’ to begin
The amount will be immediately charged to the designated credit/debit card, and notifications will be sent to the buyer and gift recipient based on the purchase status and terms.
How to send a subscription gift
Step 1: Click "Send this Gift"
Step 2: Create a FREE account or sign into an already registered account
Step 3: Enter the recipient's email and name, and add a personal message
Step 4: If you have a promotional code, enter before making your payment
Step 5: Complete your purchase.
Gift subscription billing
A Gleaner Gift subscription is on a one-time payment basis for each term. A gifter can repurchase a new gift at any time including immediately after the previous term expires.
Only the gift buyer will be charged at the time of purchase.
A gift recipient can take up a subscription at any time following expiration of the gift
Revoke/Cancel a Gift
If a gift buyer wishes to cancel or revoke a gift, please call our customer service team for assistance.
The ability to cancel/revoke will depend on the redemption status of the gift. Once redeemed, the gift cannot be revoked or cancelled. Gift recipients will have access up to the expiry of the purchased term.
Refund of Gift subscription:
A gift subscription can be cancelled and refunded on the request of the gift buyer or gift recipient, provided that the subscription gift is not yet redeemed.
Once a refund is applied, the gift will be revoked. The paid sum returns to the payment method used (the giver’s credit card, PayPal account, or another payment method) within 14 business days or according to their financial institution. To renew the gift, the buyer must purchase a new gift subscription or gift recipient must purchase a subscription.
