Tivoli defeat Waterhouse

Champions Tivoli Gardens defeated hosts Waterhouse 2-0 yesterday at Waterhouse Stadium to make it two-in-a-row in the new season of the Digicel Premier League.



Tivoli Gardens, who outscored promoted team Humble Lion 3-2 in the first round, continue to lead the early standings with maximum six points.



It was the second straight defeat for Waterhouse, who is now under the guidance of Geoffery Maxwell.



Over at Collie Smith Drive, Harbour View came from two goals down to earned a 2-2 draw with hosts Boys’ Town, which means that the teams are yet to win a game in two matches.



They are on two points each.



In other games, Sporting Central Academy and Village United ended 0-0 at Brancourt in Clarendon, while the August Town and Rivoli United game at UWI Bowl, Mona also ended without any goals.



St Georges and Humble Lions also battled to a goalless affair, this at Lynch Park in Portland.
