Treasure the moment with Harbour Wines and Spirit

So much wine yet so little time! That was the prevailing mood at the launch of GraceKennedy's Harbour Wines & Spirits, held at the waterfront, downtown Kingston, on Tuesday night.

With wines from more than 12 countries and 27 brands, there was a whole lot to get through.

Guests, including diplomats, wine experts and wine lovers, made their way around the venue, sampling wines from distant regions such as New Zealand, Australia, Italy, Portugal, Argentina and South Africa.

The Paulette Bellamy Ensemble provided background music on the windy but not-too-chilly night.

The formalities, expertly managed by wine consultant Marilyn Bennett, and Chris Reckord, were short and sweet, before performer Simone McFarlene took centrestage and had everyone captivated by her aerial acrobatics.

When you have an event that's hosted by the family of fine foods, you know it has to be good - and it was.

Succulent pork, tender chicken skewers, tantalising shrimp pasta, a variety of sweet treats and cheeses were on hand for perfect pairing with red, white or sparkling wine. It was a wonderful night and a promising launch of Harbour Wines & Spirits.
