Gradual reduction in shower activity as trough lingers, says Met Service

The Meteorological Service says the Trough west of Jamaica is expected to continue influencing shower activity across the island tonight and tomorrow.

However, in its bulletin issued at 5 p.m. today the Met Service says a gradual reduction in shower activity is expected late Monday into Tuesday as the Trough lingers across the western Caribbean.

Fishers and other marine interests are advised to continue to exercise caution as sea conditions will deteriorate in the vicinity of showers and thunderstorms due to gusty winds.
