10-man U17 Reggae Boyz lose 2-1
Jamaica were defeated 2-1 by Guadeloupe in their second Group C game of the Under-17 Concacaf Championship at the Estadio Mateo Flores Stadium in Guatemala this evening.
Ronaldo Barrett opened the scoring in the 41st minute for Jamaica with a long-range effort but second-half strikes from Willian Jaques in the 77th and Ylan Moloza in the 89th, makred a come-from-behind victory which sees Jamaica needing a result against Costa Rica in their final group game to guarantee second-round qualification.
Nashorn Bolt was sent off in the 52nd minute for a second yellow card offense.
Jamaica will play Costa Rica on Thursday at 8:00 p.m.
