Bail extended for reggae singer Lila Ike in indecent language and disorderly conduct case
Bail was today further extended for reggae singer Lila Ike and her co-accused, who are both charged with indecent language, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest in relation to a traffic stop along the Mandela Highway in St Catherine in July.
They were ordered by Senior Parish Court Judge Desiree Alleyne to return to court on November 14.
"Mi can't come, mi have show," the singer told the judge when she was given a return date for court.
The judge informed her that, having pleaded not guilty to the charges, she has to reappear on the given date.
Allegations are that on July 24, 2025, the police stopped a vehicle driven by the reggae artiste along the Mandela Highway in St Catherine and pointed out a road traffic breach.
She and Moore were told to exit the vehicle, during which they allegedly became boisterous.
According to the police, they were warned to desist, but allegedly continued to behave badly.
Both women were arrested and escorted to the Central Village Police Station, where they were charged with indecent language, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
