Police reject reports three suspects held for murder of US missionaries
The Police High Command is dismissing reports that three suspects have been held in connection with the murders of two American missionaries in Albion Mountain, St Mary.
"That is not true," the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of the crime portfolio, Ealan Powell told The Gleaner.
Powell further said the police were yet to identify any suspects or the motive for the killings of Randy Hentzel and Harold Nichols.
Earlier on Tuesday, the police said the autopsies conducted on the bodies of the missionaries revealed that they were both shot.
The police said Hentzel died of a gunshot wound while Nichols had a gunshot and chop wounds.
The police did not reveal any further detail on the matter.
