INDECOM probes shooting near Clarendon primary school

The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) is now probing a shooting incident between police and gunmen in Clarendon yesterday that caused a premature end to classes at a primary school.
There are reports that one man was killed and a firearm containing nine rounds of ammunition seized during the incident in Treadlight district, May Pen.
The shooting brought a premature end to classes at the Treadlight Primary School.
It’s reported that police personnel, acting on information, went to the community and saw several men in the vicinity of the school.
Two of the men reportedly pulled firearms and opened fire at the police.
The police reportedly returned fire and one of the men was shot and later pronounced dead at hospital.
